Did anyone who (according to your SSN) was scheduled to get your payment sent by 5/9 actually get it on time?

I didn't. My 1040 was accepted by the IRS on 2/8 & we received our tax refund via direct deposit (I read that the paper checks are on a later schedule).

I want my money!

Unfortunately I can't spend it on car parts as my wife is taking an extended leave from work to care for our 2nd child (who's perfectly healthy).

^^^I was supposed to get mine Friday. I didn't get anything but my parents and sister got theirs. We all filed electronically back in Feb. also. IDK why I didn't receive any money.

did either of you choose to expedite your returns...that has a significant factor in the "timely manner" you receive your check.

I think mine is being held up because I let turbotax take its fees from my refund

A. Taxpayers who use Refund Anticipation Loans (RALs) or enter into any other loans or financial agreements with a tax professional, such as agreeing to have return preparation fees deducted from their refunds, cannot receive their stimulus payments by direct deposit and instead will get paper checks based on the paper check distribution schedule.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thats bull****!!!! **** me!!!! why oh why!!! i will never do that again!!! never ever will i reduce my refund by having my preparation fees taken out of my refund!!

Crapolla. That makes 3 of us.

Just when you thought it was safe to drink the water again. Anyone remember the Heptachlor scare in the 80's?

So did my parents, sister and I. But they got theirs friday. I'm thinking maybe cause I'm only 18 and this is the first time I've filed for taxes. I don't think that has anything to do with it though. Needless to say I'm pretty bummed.

Yup, I remember going to Kipapa with the gallon jugs of water to fill up every week after soccer practice.
