i had this eperience i hate it when you're driving respectfully and then another car come to you and eye you out and rev you out.
but as for me i carry two bricks behind my seat and brass nuckle in compartment and and big bat hahaha .

what is bad is that he was probably just hitting his redline in 5th gear.
I would have tried to get him to follow me on some really twisty roads and pwnd him with the AWD.
