Front License Plate - Yes, No, Center, Side?
What's the opinion on here of what looks best for front license plate mounting location?... I like to run w/out a front but I know that's risking a scolding from the federales - who already seem to like me. Anyway...
1) Standard location, center...
2) Side (but I think this would look hmm as I've got fogs - '11 WRX)
3) No Plate =)
4) Other?
Would be nice if we could just have a front plate decal like the WRC cars have vs. a solid regular plate. Kinda like this, but where the prodrive decal is:

I run no front plate. Only had one ticket, and I was parked lol. My bumper has no holes that's why I don't use it, I'm not trying to make holes either. I know it's against the law to not have it on. So if I ever get in trouble for it I won't make up an excuse I'll just pay for the ticket.

No front plate is nice, but don't speed.
Officers like to aim for your front license plate when using the laser gun.. If you are speeding, they're probably going to be more inclined to give you a ticket for no front plate since they had to aim elsewhere..

TMIC or FMIC?
TMIC...front/center is fine...
When I had my 04 STI...with a FMIC, I mounted my plate on the driver side foglight cover...very easy to do and it looked great...you just need a few well placed spacers.
Currently, my plate is covering my FMIC on my 06 WRX...but due to the foglight cover change...I'm scratching my head...
Regardless, it is very unwise to run your car without a front plate in Hawaii...it's just an excuse for you to get pulled over, then have the officer go over your car with a fine tooth comb citing you for everything he/she sees...tint, no RECON, etc...
Stay out of trouble...keep the plate on.
Here is what it looks like with the plate mounted on the foglight cover.
