how do you prove that you are not the one that he timed? I have no idea? I am thinking about it though. I just can't see how they know who they are timing when there is 6 lanes of traffic coming at you at once? Don't get me wrong... I am not putting down the police, they are there to enforce law (speed limits are laws)
I just don't see how you can tell who is doing what?

If you have a completely clean record, you can try and use that angle with the judge. Just tell them that you are a safe driver and usually obey the traffic laws. Tell them you dont know for sure that you were speeding (without sounding like the officer is a liar). Always worth a shot, they changed it now where there is only one fee. It used to be if you waited x number of days the fine would go up. I'd say call the number on the back and find out your recourse. Who knows if you fight the ticket the officer may not show up or you might have a lenient judge.
What do you have to lose? Worse case you have to pay for parking and spend a day with the Justice system. If you lose they don't charge you more, just the amount you would be paying if you didn't fight it. just my two cents.
