Friday night at HRP...

Nice to see the Scooby contingent out at HRP en masse again!

Russ: 13.7 with a 1.5x 60'! Holy smokes! That's stupefying!
Stephen: Back in the 13's SOLID, Bro!
Andrew: 13.6 ain't bad for your second time out EVER! Whoa! Get that UTEC tuned and see what kind of boost you're runnin'!
Pat: Hard luck, Bro. You're about to be MAD PIMPIN' JDM 6-spd style though - so chin up!
Richie: Just think of your current funk as hump day. Imagine it's Wednesday evening - only gets better from here!
Wes: Sorry you had to leave early. Thanks for the CD's!
Joey: Your car is pimp. Lemme get that gift certificate from you sometime!
Dan: Your STi is a SOLID mid-13 performer with just a downpipe. AWESOME.
Ed: Lookin' good with that front lip!

Sorry for anything I said in my drunken stupor. I started early.

Can't wait to get 700 more miles on my clutch so I can run again!

Did someone run out of gas on their run? I think I remember a silver WRX Wagon (?) with rims and maybe some morettes that died right after the launch and the guy had to push it back- that sucks man.. I couldn't see well, I have bad eyes.

I was there for an hour or two, you guys have some nice cars.

I got skeerd.

I was only trying to see what my 60' was. How'd I do?

I had a bad launch and got pissed so I just stopped but they wouldn't let me go back to the front of the line.

My Nitrous exploded.

Doesn't everyone have rims?

Thumbs up

Thanks for props Rich! Was cool to see all you guys there! Yeah, I don't know about that 1.5 60 ft. I think a mongoose ran across the track and tripped the sensor befor I got there!

Hey Pat, your wheels looked cool! I know you wanted attention, but next time you shut down a run, just go down to the end of the track like everybody else, ok?

I'm pretty new here, and maybe even one of the youngest..(16) My parents got me the car via a loan (I added only about 500 to the down payment, thats all I had. My parents paid the rest), I know how lucky I am to have such nice parents, but only because I promised to pay the monthly payments on the 6 year loan as soon as possible- hoping to get into the Aiea 76 gas station as a pump attendant, apparently the lady who does paperwork there had surgery and isn't back so i'm waiting on that.

I was the guy with the Blue 04' WRX that was parked far away by itself, behind the black 350z. I saw you guys cruising by the bathroom side of the parking lot. Wanted to say hi, but was too shame So far, my car has some black tint, DIY cleared out headlights, a debadged trunk, and took out teh snorkel.. later when I get a real job, (screw the minimum wage) that'll change.

damn, this got long- well hope to see you guys around, sorry if I don't wave/shaka, sometimes I tend to get pretty "focused" on the road.
That station is slow and the hours suck. I used to work there when bobby owned it now he just works there again.

Dan,

these motors don't care for detonation. If I was detonating, I'd shell out for higher octane, even if it is mega expensive. And I only have a WRX. You need to protect your investment.
