nah... been busy at work

future will be bi-weekly starting this meet. this is in preparation for the monthly meets

 

but what will we do every other friday night?

 

lol thats what im tryin to figure out. personally i think that weekly is good, it gives those who work occasional friday nights a better chance to attend. but if we do a daytime meet on the weekend once a month too then i suppose it could make it harder on some to attend them all. oh well, i leave it to those in charge and just show up whenever i can.

 

^^^like you said weekly is good or the reasons you stated but also remember anyone can make up a meet at anytime don't just depend Jon to take care of it......but yeah good job on taking the initiative!

if it totally bombs on the bi-weekly the weekly will continue but i seriously want to do something else other than starbucks or similar

im not familiar with that joint, so dont get me wrong here. i dont think the bar scene, no matter how honest it may seem should become part of the meets. it would just be askin for trouble and would take away from the laid back family style that makes our club so successful.

as for anyone makin the meets, its just better to have one person be the lead organizer so there is no confusion. if there is a backup for when said person is unavailable then thats fine too, but it just avoids conflicting posts which have happened before.

My say might not hold much weight due to my inability to attend most of them, but one of the things I like about the current meets is that it doesn't cost anything more than gas to attend. I know parking lots aren't classy, but the price is right and they allow for a lot of people's cars. Meeting at a park is just as good to me.
