Ah. Too bad I can't make it, but then again it sounds like a short meet.

We should find a new spot instead of Starbucks. I think they are on to us.

Man, we are starting to lose our good spots. Circuit City used to be a great spot, but they won't allow us there (for a while). Moanalua was great too, but a few night cruises ruined that for everyone. Kunia was good as well. Same goes for the airport Starbucks. Kapolei was an awesome spot, and until last night, HPD was generally ok w/us being there.

Any ideas for future meat locations? Preferrably decently-lit, spacious, and cool w/security/HPD.

city parks...CORPS, Kakaako etc etc.....unfortunately we would have to bring our own refreshments.

Yeah, the only places we could "congregate" are places like parks. Or we could just go sit at starbucks and then the fuzz can't do crap. Then we couldn't check out all of our sexy vehicles. I guess it's a trade off.

My suggestions:

Best choice: Sand Island Beach Park. I know there are camping sites so I'm sure parking is open. Next to McDonalds and few other places too.

1. Ala Moana Beach Park(Not too sure when it officially closes, maybe it doesn't?). I've been there only at about 9pm and it wasn't closed.
2. That parking lot next to the lagoon in the Ilikai.
3. Some bar that can serve snacks/refreshments with adequate parking. I'm sure someone knows someone. I think this is good because there are some empty bars with good parking lots around the island and don't mind the business. Food is great in some bars too.
4. Some other beach park. I know
5. CORPS.
6. Waimanalo Beach Park. Plenty of parking but far.

As with most gated camping sites on the island, they lock the gates @ Sand Island at a certain time.

Ala Moana Beach park closes @ 10 and cops patrol the area frequently.

The Helipad Area behind the Ilikai gets pretty crowded on the weekends. Would be hard to find parking for everyone that shows up.

As for the bars, it depends on what area you're in. Not many bars have adequate parking for guys that are just gonna cruise in the parking lot.

CORPS closes their gates at about 10 pm too.

Waimanalo Beach Park is pretty far. Especially for peeps that live out on the west side.

It's getting harder now days to find a spot to just kick back and relax. Especially since all the crap that has been happening around the island. THe kidnappings in Mililani, that girl found in Kalihi & the one they found by the Royal Hawaiian on the beach in Waikiki.

Weekly meets might soon turn out to monthly meets.

If you guys wanna have a pot luck/bbq, our place is available. There's pavilions over by the beach that I can reserve, and parking there is pretty good. As long as nobody gets out of hand, it'll be okay for us to use. Must bring your own chairs though. Drinking is allowed as well. Canned alcoholic beverages an/or beer kegs are permitted. Glass or breakable containers are not. I know that you guys are a responsible group. If there is any drinking, just don't get carried away.
