I also wouldn't assume the cops don't want to get involved... this may seem like a petty theft on the surface... but who knows how deep this really goes.
Don't they have task forces in place that specifically target automotive thefts?

If it were me, I don't think I could just turn my head the other way... but I also wouldn't want to get involved in any disputes that could turn violent, which is why I would get the police involved.

That is so effed-up, I was always paranoid of mine being taken, even to the point of getting foglights to make it more of an involved job if the thief wanted them. I think I saw your car last week, I was mentioning to my wife that that PSM Rex probaly got his foglight covers stolen. Without mentioning where you park, I know because I've admired your Conquest parked in the vicinity before...I just love boxed fenders. Hope this person get what they deserve, if it was acquired illegally.

Well since you know 150% they're yours why don't you at least talk to the cops and see if they'd like to try and shake this person down to see if they can uncover the actual person stealing the stuff.

For all you others with fog covers...do yourselves a favor and put some kind of markings on them even if it has to be on the back or on the edge. Its pretty well known that fog covers get stolen off of Subies in HI.

markings wont do anything since knowing about the markings only proves you know about the markings, that doesn't prove they are yours
