found a bes... now the price 25k?!?
i found a white bes at a "sleazy" auto dealer. hes asking 25k for it. that is just waaaay too much. im thinking of making an offer for about 15k and working my way up from there. if this dont work out, im gonna make an offer to my coworker but 16. but i know that if i get it for anymore than 17 im probably getting ripped off right? btw if any of you guys have seen one for sale lmk i am looking to buy real soon.

auto or manual?
that's ridiculous for $25K
I say find the mileage on it then go to KBB.com and find out what the retail value is. it should be no more than 19K in emaculate (sp?) condition
I'd say offer 18K OTD and if he doesn't take that walk!

well on KBB.com at 2002 0 miles and in exellent condition with rear spoiler the retail value is $21,500 so do not buy it for $25K
like I said find the mileage do your own research on it then offer him no more than 18K out the door (already includes tax license...etc.). if he doesn't take it then walk off the lot and don't stop until they give you that price. if they want to negotiate do not do it! Just walk.

you know... modified cars at the dealership isn't good and cannot add to the value of the car that they are selling since it doesn't have factory parts on it. If it were a private owner that you were buying it from then a modified car would have increased value (to an extent of course and to the right person). Dealers that try to make more money off of a modified car are stupid because people probably more than they do about that sort of thing and cannot warranty the car if it is modified.
