Cool

Same reason I bought mine... cause I got it for $70 shipped to LA!!!!!

It's in very good shape, and has the S/S exhaust tip.

I like the sound, and easy install.. but I think it is rubbing on something since it
makes a clanging sound from time to time at low rpms.. or when off the throttle.

Anyone hear it or is it just the rubber hangers need to be repositioned?

Thx,

Patrick

The Flowmasters sound pretty good, but their internal design of the muffler is not a great match for a turbo car. It's a chambered design instead of a straight through design, and that hurts performance on turbo cars compared to most straight-through designs.

It was so inexpensive to buy, I would have tried it out too perhaps. Do yourself a favor, and get a quality turbo-back exhaust with a straight through type of muffler once you can justify the costs. Hell, you could likely sell the flowmaster for what you paid for it.

I just added the flowmaster with S/S single tip, and like the sound.
Bought it off ebay for $70 shipped.

Most cat back systems don't make that much power, so is it worth it to upgrade to something costing $500 or more if you only gain 1-2 hp?

I would guess the FM exhaust makes about 3-4 hp over stock... more?

If a straight thru design will yield 10hp over stock, and help spool, then $500 is worth it I guess..

So far, like the FM.
