while going thru random forums looking at random threads of random works of unique automotive art, i came across this pic... which is a subaru Flat 12... has anyone else ever seen this before or know any more information on it like wtf it may have be used in??

No you don't wanna do that the H12 was plagued with problems. Thats why you don't see one today.

 

Failed F1 program IIRC. I think an article on it was in Subaru "Drive" magazine a couple years ago.

 

350lb engine, good GOD!! I see a balancing problem on that particular engine. Nice that they tired though.
