Lately I've been reading several books on fitness and the fitness industry (thinking about opening a gym) and I just wanted to share these great books with you guys and maybe inspire some to start some kind of exercise program if your not on one.

Since I've been in Iraq Dec 07 I've been going to the gym off and on with just information from magazines and following other peoples programs with no real guidance. I was seeing results and getting stronger but not until I read this book that I started to see a real change. I think anyone that steps in a gym should read these books instead of just walking in and start pushing weight around. These books are also great for someone who has been thinking about joining a gym but have no idea what they are doing (like I was) and you don’t even have to have a personal trainer

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe
Practical Programming by Mark Rippetoe
Strong Enough? by Mark Rippetoe

If you guys have read any books that have inspired you the way these books inspired me please post them up. I have a lot of time of down time here lol

You should talk to my brother, he certified personal trainer NSCA and a degree in physical education.

Wasn't WRX-FLIP (Jeff) a personal trainer?
