First in Hawaii to lower their STi?

Don't recall anyone who has lowered their STi yet? Who will be the first?
Very tempting and only $400...

My buddy threw a set of Tein SS coilovers on his STi the first week he had it (about 2 months ago). It's black/gold and slammed as far down as those coilovers allow. He's on this board occasionally, screen name is 808STI (or something like that).

I dont know. The ride seems harsh enough as it is. I bet it looks sweet tho, would like to check it out. Been griping about the gap since I got it.

I'm mostly interested in the handling aspect and in the past said I would never lower my car, but now I'm having second thoughts. Being a firm believer in the STi suspension this seems like a good tweak rather then spending lots of $$ replacing it with coilovers.

Yeah, that MR2 was nice but not as fast as mine was .

Anyway the ride was pretty good. He took me for a spin in it up Tantlus and I was impressed. So much so that I'm getting his Tein SS 'cause he's putting the Flex coilovers on it now.

That'll probably be my first performance/exterior mod. I'm just if some STI specific coilovers will start hitting the market. Hopefully some Tein flexes.

I've been reading about people putting the various Teins on but isnt the STI about 200lbs heavier? Shouldn't that lead to different spring rates??? Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on that.
