Chef Mavro's.

I've eaten at every one of the resturants listed above. They're all good but Chef Mavro's was the best I've been to.

^^ i spoke to chev mavro- just speaking to him made me want to eat there- the way he describes his dishes.... wow.

ryan, a neat thing to do is to go restaurant hopping- there are 2 places that i like eat dessert at after a fine meal- 1st is kincaids for their flamed custard- and hy's has an awesome bananas foster(or flambe')- its really good to go there just for dessert.

there is this awesome little place in kailua called luigi's - he's a fine chef that has a little restaurant kinda "hidden". his food is top notch and he cooks everything fresh and the prices are pretty good too.

The top of the I was excellent when we were there last November. I believe the restaurant was called Sorento's. Great food with an awesome view.

Guys...my answers are not based solely on the food. The location, atmosphere and view are definitely factored in. The food is just one thing.

Hy's gets my vote for best cut of steak (fliet) followed VERY closely by Ruth's Chris for a lot less $.

Hiroshi's at Restaurant Row is a very neat place from the owner of Sansei, and Vino.

I guess he's as good of a salesman as you are. Did you tell him about Hondas? I'm sure it will make him buy one too after you talk to him.

Jeff, when you say slight slight dress code, do you mean like no shorts and no rubbah slippah, or more like dress shirt and dress slacks?
