Filipino engineering in the house!

So a few days ago had help from a friend to install my Cusco 2E coilovers. Knowing already as soon as we put the car off the jacks my STi was pretty low to the ground. I drive the car home and already see that I wont make it up my driveway cause I have this hill/ramp thing. I know now that I have to make a ramp so the last 2 days of cutting/nailing and about $10 worth of wood I finally created 2 ramps and my car makes it up my driveway BARELY.

So I installed my STi v-limited with wrc rally rubber to the car and slowly back it up the driveway. It clears less than a 1/4 of an inch of the driveway going up the ramp I made.

After bringing the car down the front sits about 2-3 inches off the ground and it looks awesome.

And the side of the car to show how much of a drop it is.

"Dayumn Gina", you wasn't playing when I came to the second pic

I was gonna say, "angle you car in" but that is F'n low

that's OK, it looks like that wood is gonna last cause it looks tough enough, look like it came from Southern Phillipines.

p.s.diggin the lip, badge, hood, drop, decal combo

Yeah tried the whole angle thing and it doesn't cut it. This ramp is actually version 2 cause the other one was just too small.

Oh one more thing I forgot to add was these babies: My friend told me the green in the car brings out the filipino in me...

purple seats with deluxe orange stitching.

the STi on one seat is pink and the other seat a little more hot pink cause Pablo came short on the design through factory quantity. hehehe

LOL welcome to Coilover/V-Limited Hell.

I have coilovers and installed my v-limited. The min I hit the driveway, even at a crazy angle knowing clearance was an issue, I was scraping. LOL.

Yeah get used to hitting things at an angle and watch out for speed bumps. Also, no fat chicks.

Looks good btw!

You guys know that you can call the state d.o.t. and they will pour asphalt in your driveway, essentially fusing the gap from the road to your curb/driveway area?
Just a thought. I've done it before years ago. I don't remember the # to call or anything, but it's free.

Sure I'll make you one but its gonna cost ya around $80 cause thats how much I had to spend for everything. The backing of my ramp was originally held together by this flimsy piece of wood and nails but I replaced it with these steel brackets and screwed together each piece so it wouldn't move. Afterwards each ramp weighs in about 10lbs each so you know thats its gonna last.

le sacrificial lip looks good on your car... you should definitely mass produce those ramps or gutter ramps.
