Not turning out how you'd think:

Hmmm... Well not one person on here has said to get the FD. Which I agree with.
to put it simply; if you want an FD you MUST by a second car for your primary/daily driver car. You'd quickly regret otherwise.

i would get the WRX has the daily driver but some of us just love the FD's styling and performance and will sacrifice anything it takes just so we can drive the car. i am on my 4th FD and all i can say is there isnt anyother car on the market that can compete with it performance wise for the same price. if you do not mind the many headaches that come with the car then get it. you wont be dissapointed when its running right
For a daily driver I would go with the WRX. Newer, room for friends, cheaper to maintain, probably still has warranty, easier to find parts.
WRX is a better choice hands down. This comes from a guy that has had 15 FDs.
I'd go with a WRX over an FD. I actually hate to drive my car when its just for transportation and not for the joy of driving. Its really not practical and the maintanence sucks even more when its your only car because you can't put it off and do it slowly or wait for parts if you find something broken or in need of replacement. If you live somewhere where it rains, snows, and freezes, the FD will also kill you on the roads in the winter. The car does much better in a garage where its babied.

I had a 93 fd before my CRB600 and my current STi.... and have to agree with everyone on the reliability standpoint..... and also driving the fd in foul weather is really scary too....when it rained in vegas all that oil comes up and its like your on ice....and to be on ice with no traction sucks even more
but the car did have some strengths.... fun to drive, great on a racetrack or twisty road, feels good sitting low to the ground in leather buckets....
but as for all around daily driver/sports car/reliability..... the STi is really hard to beat.....hell my dad also bought one today....and he is the worst and pickiest when it comes to mixing drivability, performance, reliability and value....
