3.5" monster...this is what I want...
We'll have ONE in stock in about a week It's on it's way from Australia... Along with a bunch of other APS STi/WRX goodies like a 4.5" core FMIC, CAI, and a SR55 dual BB Turbocharger.

Hey Orville,

What are you looking for in an exhaust...the helix that you have is pretty mean sounding...

The exhaust I have had experiences with are:

1. HKS High Power (cousin has one with 3" piping, stock downpipe, no resonator)...sounds good, higher pitched than the helix you have.

2. HKS Carbon Ti...with PDE Downpipe, stock manifold...throaty, get's louder with rpm...quieter than my cousins due to the resonator present on the Carbon Ti...starts off with a lower tone then quickly gets a higher tone with rpm.

3. HKS Carbon Ti with PDE Downpipe and XXTuning Header...raspy sound, higher tone, much less in the way of the Subaru Rumble...didn't care for the sound with the header.

4. B&B with PDE and stock Manifold...very deep rumble, sounds mean from the time you start it up, to the 7K! This is one of the lowest sounding exhausts I've heard for the STI...it gets pretty loud as you get on it but not nearly as loud as the Blitz Nur Spec. It, by itself, smooths out the Subaru rumble caused by the unequal length stock manifold.

5. B&B with PDE and XXTuning Header...Perfect...Exhaust note is smoothed out, really not very loud at all...but very noticable raspy, lower tone...WRC sounding when on the gas...like a Harley at idle...I like this set up but I've heard the APS 3.5" TBE with the GT SPec II Header (same as XXTuning) and it sounds mean!

6. Just for the heck of it, I installed my stock STI catback on my PDE downpipe...that lasted all of one night...it's actually not bad...when you get on it, there is this raspy note to it and I can still hear the turbo spool but it's waaay to quiet for me...I also felt the restriction of the 2.5" piping...this was with the header also so it may sound more rumbly with the stock manifold...
