Wouldn't it be pretty awesome if someone came out with a method to do this conversion inexpensively, safely, and reversibly.
If you check this thread, it tells how-to, and maybe you could just have 2 setups.

A few years back a couple/few of the guys who had built GC8 RS-ts up in New England all converted to RWD to dyno their cars. (Now there are a couple AWD dynos in New England, but at the time there weren't any around). One guy, efoo over on NASIOC, said his RS-t could do a one-wheel-peel (open rear diff) at highway speeds in 3rd gear.
