Enginuity users speak to me about it!
Ok so it's been mentioned at a couple of meets and I decided to look into it. Unfortunately most of the tools created were made for Windows users. I do have Parallels but so I'm not completely without a paddle. They do make a Linux version but again the other tools are made for windows.
What types of problems have you run into and any tips/tricks to make my life easier when attempting to tune my JDM ECU. I have confirmed if I'm reading the site right that they do support my year and ECU.
So far I have downloaded the Linux version of Enginuity, STANDARD logger and ECU definitions. I know that I'll need ECUFlash (Windows) and an "OpenPort" Cable for a Subaru and a flash jumper (same like the one that comes with AccessPort). I sold my AccessPort so I don't have the proper jumper anymore. Finally a USB driver for the Cable for my Mac.
So lets here what you've got to say about it. Another chance to bring more technical topics to HIIC (hopefully not to technical )

Technically I can just jump pins 1 and 4 and pins 2 and 3 of the main connector and it'll be the same thing
Jon
My cars ECU would be in these JDM sets for the STI
2001/2002 A4SD900B, A4SDA01B, A4RG050N, A4RG050R, A4RG052N
What do these numbers mean? are they on the ECU itself somewhere?

There's a programmer here at Gunter Annex who helped write the code, and I have a local friend that uses it. Last I talked to him he said it didn't support multiple maps. It's too late to give him a call, and he's kind of hard to contact. He actually rally races his car locally.
