Combustion chamber size affects compression ratio, not displacement. Displacement is a measure of piston-swept volume which is determine by block, piston, rod, crank.

If you are using the 2.2 Crank you'll get 2.22L
If you are using the 2.5 crank you'll get 2.34L
According to the calcs the 2.5crank with a 2.2 is 2.33L.
I know I said 2.35 earlier, but that's if you bore it out when you stroke it. That's what Crawford (?) does with their blocks. Start with a 2.2 and Bore and stroke to a 2.35L. SOrry for the confusion.
