It's top secret but it involves a new bottom end and some much sassier heads. I have the block torn down already and it will be off to the Snyder's for a hot tanking, a rebore, and a hone.

Actually the heads I will be using are in fact SOHC, though not of the 2.2l turbo persuasion. The heads will be featuring some very agressive cams and will outflow a standard non modified WRX/STI head. The performance gain is negligible to swap to a DOHC head and would require much more modification to the cars wiring.

I think you mean the heads will feature a very aggressive cam?

AH didnt see RS

im going in a WRX so im keeping the DOHC and going to pur in a cam port and polish the heads

Yes, I am trying to do this entire build on a relatively low budget. I hope to prove that homebuilding is better than dropping your car off at a shop.
