Ok, so I finally pulled the motor from the legacy tonight
and everything seems to be in good condition other than a broken oil seal, ghetto rigged emissions control hoses, some misplaced hoses and wires, and missing nuts and bolts (all from previous owner).
My goals for the next week or so is to fix the oil leak, change oil/filter/spark plugs ect. and pull the wire harness.
anything that im forgetting?
Oh, and of coarse pressure wash that oil drenched engine.

I seriously need to get some sort of EM for this project soon. I'm beginning to think that just getting what I need for it is priority #1 now.
Although that Link system seems to be a good deal. Any idea what i would have to do for it to work with my setup, Sigma?

they are working on plugs for sensor a and a harness voer lay
im going to use stock sensors and thier loom and thier ecu
but if you dont need to use that they have an ecu loom and sensors

how would you reccomend i set it up?
EJ22T harness and ECU? or would a WRX ECU work better?
sorry for all the questions, i just want to get this done right.

crap tahts alot of stuffs hmmmm
so an NA ecu in there now
i say link would be good if its teh same harness as the wrx one. you need a stand alone or teh EJ22T stock ecu but you would need the ej22t harness
its a headache which ever way you go
the NA ecu is not expecting to see any boost it might freak out when it does

Yea, but not too bad.
So far i've gotten about 80% of the harness out. The only thing from stopping me is the heater/ AC core, which i can't seem to take out at the moment.
Other than that i was going to use the stock ej22t ecu with the ej22t harness.
but the ej22t ecu is for an auto trans, is there any way i would need to trick it for it to work on my standard impreza?
