Responce from Jarrad (NASIOC)

Jarrad
I'm confident in Jarrad's tune, So for now, I'm going to buy gauges (Air/fuel , Boost, Oil Pressure) and monitor it until Jarrad arrives again. Thank everyone for your input

what gauges do you have already?

I would NOT get an A/F gauge just because you could get something better (read: more accurate) like a WB02 gauge or EGT.

Sorry thats what I meant, WB02 not a/f . I'm planning to get Prosport Gauges. 4 of my buddies with STi's have them, and there great for the price.

I agree, it's really hard to (if not impossible to) diagnose a dyno chart "definitively".

I would proceed as you are stating you will (WB02, Boost, Oil Pressure),... and just monitor the car. If you can get access to a datalogger setup (Tactrix cable + laptop w/ datalogging software - either ecuExplorer or RomRaider (previously Enginuity) and provide data logs to Jarrad, that will likely help you as well.

Jarrad is the sh**! I'm thinking that besides myself (if I ever get street tuner or invest in protuner), Jarrad will be the only tuner touching my car.

dunno if your AP v2 cable is something you can use to datalog, but if you can't..
www.tactrix.com for the tactrix cable
www.romraider.com for the RomRaider software
http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash for EcuFlash (you need for the Tactrix cable drivers at a minimum)

oh and get a 'good' WBO2... the AEM I have nice and all, but it's not "port-able" to any datalogging software by default... it takes a fair amount of work,.. I'd recommend something like this: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTS.php
and it helps since they also have it setup to work with their own logging software (strictly for the AFRs but it's something at least) to run along-side the datalogging software of your choice.

may not be the 'best' advice, but a good view:

(and btw.. the v774 mentioned in the video? it can't found on the romraider site... it's here:

^^^^thanks for the info I was already planning to go with innovate motorsports WB02 because of its features and the fact it matches my STI cluster.
