Dual drilling brake rotors

Does anyone know of shops that would drill 5x100 bolt pattern on brake rotors?

Why not just get the correct Rotors? Besides the bolt pattern is the rotor the same thickness, the same size diamater? Are these some awesome aftermarket rotors that are just so bad *** you "have to get them drilled to work" vs getting some that work right out the box?

What the frack as you yapping about? Cross drilling wheels?

Do we all have a reading problem? I said dual drilling rotors as I'm fitting STI brembos to a WRX that has 5x100.

I believe you can pick up 04 STI rotors those are already 5X100 and your all set, i can see how if you already have a set of rotors, having them drilled "makes sense". Question though. Are they new rotors or used? have you thought about selling them and then pick up an after market already dual drilled pattern rotors or stock 04 sti front rotors.

I'm sure anyone who has a drill press could do it. It is something to be wary about though, as you're removing a lot of material from the face, and if it's drilled just a little offcenter, you'll have a massive wobble. I don't know of anyone who can balance it as well, and having an off balance rotor may amplify any wobble.

Can you use 04 STi rotors? They're pretty darn cheap on amazon... to be honest, it's probably just a bit more than if you found someone who could drill it correct.

The 04 STI rotors are slightly different but I'm going to need 08+ STI rotors for the rears since 04 rotors won't fit the 08+ STI brembos I have.

New rotors. I'm just looking for a local shop that can do this. If anyone has experience with a shop, please chime in.

And anyone who drills a different bolt pattern into wheels is a moron. That **** will crack on one off course excursion on a track, or even a massive pot hole...

Right on, you will like the upgrade once its done. GL with finding a local shop to handle the rears for you.

Have you checked out FastWRX site? They sell rear rotors already drilled.

I think you need to look in the mirror and repeat that to yourself.

I know what you said, obviously you are not understanding what I said. But for you to have this type of idea anyways..... kind of hints your intelligence and technical background.

Just buy rotors....... really though.

Also if you do these on the rear ones you lose your parking brake as the sti parking brake drums are larger.

These guys sell kits:
KNS Brakes

Dual drilling rotors are common practices. Frankly, I was asking for shop recommendations not commentary.

Yes, I tried KNS. They are good guys but the shipping was too much.

WRX and STI rear rotors have the same drum brake size.
