Subaru's AWD system is FWD based, hence the understeer. But to each his own. I respect everyone's opinon in this opinionated thread

Car Info: STi (cornering, accelerating and braking hard).
I'm teaching my son to drive manual and autocross in a RWD car that has a short wheelbase (Miata). I think he will learn more about vehicle dynamics in that car than he would in my STi. IMO the AWD masks all kinds of driver mistakes.

Look at what happened when all those Civic owners bought S2000s. It wasn't pretty.

Nah Ill just go with an STi since i could adjust the DCCD and make it RWD per sei LOL.

got to give it to the awd, I just got so good at driving it, but I also love the rwd but I have to be more patient with it, not that into fwd, but they are good daily drivers...
