Don't you hate it when...
You lay down over a month's pay and benefits on, I don't know, and engine block or a turbo or such...
and the cc company has to CALL BACK to verify your purchases?
How in the hell do they expect me to keep secrets from my wife if they call her to ask, "did you just spend $1.5k on your credit card?"
Well, at least I know they're being vigilant on my behalf.

She acted like it was no big deal. Just handed the phone to me.
I guess she sees it as my prerogative since I'm gonna be sucking for a year.
Oh by the way, I highly recommend 'marriage by half-truths' to you future husbands out there. 2 key things must be in place, though for you to be successful at it.
1) She must trust you and realize what you're doing. I say trust although I'm lying (by keeping information from her and then shading it a bit if she HAS to know. I call it 'spin control'. It's for keeping her from spinning out of control.)
2) You must be very good at it. That's all I'll say about that.
Obviously, though, I don't mean to condone lying about dangerous behavior (ie. cheating, drugs, gambling...). I see this as only for damage control of domestic situations.

Maximal, Yeah... But I don't have any money, or any credit so if I'm buying stuff for the car it's ERIN'S MONEY. She'll have to be a little more understanding than Kathy when Pat is spending his own money.
I will try to be "better" though. Think you can teach me some classes? Your girlfriend was telling me something about this thing she does with a device that you can swallow up to the base? What's that all about?
