very easy removal...i suggest either getting the silencer delete elbow replacement thing....not sure what its called but here's a site...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

anyway....have fun...and make sure to remember to tighten every nut/bolt good...you dont want any loose bolts rattling around....

My words of experience for you: 1. take the fender liner all the way out, don't try to force things with it still in place. 2. Like 808 says, if you are using a deleter elbow tighten the bolt down real well or it will work itself off.

Enjoy!

I personally just sealed up the hole where the airbox and the fender meet with weather stripping and covered the hole where the scoop was with the OEM RS part. Schuman has it for like $3 but it's special order

Talking

it was easy as cake, now i can hear the turbo spool up better, and the blowoff valve is louder at high rpm's. i need to go and find the adapter or something to plug up those two holes left. i might get that tubing from that vendor off ebay, or i'll tape the holes up. thanks to everyone for the advice!!! hey sykosis, is it shumann carriage, that ur talking about, and is that the only place that i can buy weather stripping tape, or do u think hhome depot has it??

Schuman has the plug for the hole (pn 46059FA000), the weather stripping is just from home depot.

ECU reset?...just unplug the negative terminal on your battery...and plug it back in again....

step on your brake pedal after you unplug the neg, for like 5 seconds, or until your interior light goes off. then reconnect the neg.

marko, depending on what u need to reset the ecu for, i would let the ecm learn by itself, without resetting and having it to learn all over again...
