Yes....take the intake off.

You wont need more air for a long time...trust me.

^^^ yea, what he said... if you are looking to get more air, even though you don't need it go with a Turbo XS short ram or something that keeps that stock intake size for the MAS. That way you will not be leaning out the car and firing the CEL

Ditto Rage. Stay away from AEM, due to the piping diameter which causes cell errors from the MAF Sensor.

Actually,

I disagree with everyone. I had/have the AEM (not installed anymore) and got an initial cel, but after that was fine. Ran it for two years. Don't think anyone here will say my car didn't run strong with it. Reset your ecu. And contrary to posts, you won't run lean with it, unless the 04 is radically different from the 02. I know because I have a wideband 02 unit.

you are right it will not run radically lean, but enough to cause the CEL... you either deal with the light and hope it doesn't come back or you just deal with it daily. I am not saying it will lean you out to much, but on some cars it has cause some problems. Not many though.

Well,

I don't think you got what I said. I got an initial cel that went away, never to return. And I have a wideband unit that shows it didn't run lean at all. As said before, I have an 02, didn't have the intake/wideband on an 04. Wouldn't think it would be a huge difference.

I understood what you meant... I just think that one car might run fine with a CAI while another might not. I tried it on mine and it ran like crap. The CEL stayed on until I removed it. I now run and TXS short ram. I wish it would have worked on mine... nothing like getting cooler air into the engine.
