The Doc is still Alive!!

Hello all from Mississippi. I'm here at Keesler for Combat Wx Team school. I'll be here til June. Things I guess are going well. Tell you what, I'm getting alot of attention here and in Shreveport, LA. STi's are like gold around here. I go out and hang out with the car clubs on Friday and Sat...I get a huge crowd around my car. Its crazy. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if some of you were here with your rides. These ppl are closed to the world. Most the cars here and in Shreveport are Civics and other ricers. Down here on the coast is a large arena of Mustangs as well.

Anyways, I just purchased a CF trunk and some other CF things for the engine. Going to save my money and get Hydra ECU for the summer. I'm also going to be looking for boost controller shortly. A couple weeks ago I went to my first AutoX and had a blast. I came in second in the class...I lost by .1 sec to the guy that asked me to go. I was stoked. Then the past two weeks I ran at the local dragstrip here in MS and ran my best time.

60ft: 1.77
1/4: 13.28 @ 101

I'm stoked and can't wait to learn how to drive. I improved from 14.0 to 13.28 with the dp install. That isnt the only thing that made me go faster...learning how to drive it...haha. I'll keep ya posted on my progress.

So...what are the fast times now in HI? Any record breakers? Well, hope all is well in paradise. Chow for now.

Jason

Good to hear from you. No need for a boost controller if you get a Hydra. You can control all of your boost with the hydra.

Nate...thanks for the info. I was looking into a BC but now I'll wait until I get the hydra. It will cost about 1600-2000 for the complete unit. Need to save...hopefully this summer I will get it.

Make sure you have a good AWD Dyno somewhere in the area to make it worth a tune.
