Discouraged...

Went back to Ohau for a week for some training. I was pleasently supprised to the the huge amount of wrx and sti. I was discouraged to see though that almost everyone i had seen was dropped like a honda. Do you guys not care about the twisties?

just b/c we have a drop don't mean that we can't do turns and on the other note there is no autox/tracks/anyplace for that kinda driving here.

whoa!

NO DROP HERE LIKE A HONDA. NO TUCKING TIRES HERE LIKE A HONDA. NO HANDLING LIKE A HONDA EITHER! LOL

most of us that do have a lowered car DO NOT lower it a rediculous amount where we cannot go over speed bumps straight. I do have to slow down but still able to go over a speed bump without going at a 45 degree angle

You obviously haven't been to the twisties with me. I personally have 1.25" of gap from the top of my tire to the bottow of the wheelwell. -3+ front and -2+ rear camber. She definately corners.

Well me personally i run about 14" from the center of the hub to the fenders. I can actually say i felt the difference from slamming WRX's because i have had mine down pretty low. But you know.... to each his own. I just hope SUBARU's dont end up like the sterotipical HONDA.

I have my car dropped where the center of the wheel is equal distance to the fender all the way around. To me this is perfect proportion and does not rub in hard turning. Any lower would be useless.
