Dime a Dozen?

Does anyonoe else notice that G35 Coupes are dime a dozen now? I mean geez, I see at least 6-8 in a day. Sure, its a great all rounded car but its like a Honda Civic in the 30k range. Those Infiniti dealerships must be banking now

Anyway, I see less and less WRX's on the road now...

So anyway, last night, I compiled a list of what 25k+ cars that I am interested in and how many I saw last night. Heres what I jot down(I didn't get all of what I saw)

G35 Coupe/Sedan: 10
Subaru WRX: 4
Mitsubishi Evo: 1
Nissan Murano: 3
Nissan 350Z: 3
Mazda RX8: 2(one was exiting the Mazda dealership)
BMW E46 M3: 1(Imola RED!!~!@111)
Dodge Neon SRT-4: 1(Bastage close cut me off on Kapiolani)
Ferrari 360 Modena: 1(Looks like a rental)

I don't think Ferrari and 25k go in the same post.

With the "+" Barry added in anything goes. But its not quite fair. I see M3s everywhere, ISs everywhere. The silver ones are taunting me lately. Atleast 10 a day in front of me, beside me, grr...

huh?!? Come on now...G35 a 30K Civic?

Maybe it was just today. I see way more WRXs and IS300s on the road.

What I meant is, its the most common car in the 30k range just like the Civic is the most common car in the under 15k range.

Well, Richie, I live near town but I do see more G35's than WRXs and IS300 combined.

I see more IS300's than WRX's. I see equal #'s of G35's and WRX's...

It's amazing how much more money people have than me.

I see waaaaay too many G35s.....makes me kinda glad I didnt get (I was very close).

I see Evos here and there..but there's a reason for that right?? I think I'd go crazy if even more people parted with those obscene amounts of dough.

Hey, what is it the Maxima doesn't have that the Z & G do? I've driven the G and while I'm not to taken with it's looks, I'd say that it was an amazing ride. If I had the money, I don't know if I'd buy it, though. If I were shopping, I'd probably buy a used Z06. I say that without ever having driven the Corvette but these are only words, right? Right now I could find used Z06's and Vipers for $35k to $40k. Actually, off the top of my head, I know there's a lot of used cars out there for that price range. I'm not a big fan of surrendering thousands of dollars for depreciation in a matter of minutes (as soon as I drive it off of the lot.)

BTW, are there any dealers that are selling Corvettes that are not as **** as Cutter about test drives? I'd love to take the Z06 out for a test drive.

Oh yeah, John, if you drove the Murano, you'd be completely unimpressed as far as performance wise. It's an Auto (which I know you don't mind) and it's geared for comfort and utility, not speed...so those housewives have a little umph in order to pass in the passing lane. I wonder about the, what are they called? QX45? I wonder how well they'd do if they were put into performance tests against a car.
