What kind of conditions are you looking to shoot in? Since you're looking for a lean and thin camera, expect not to have great low light/night shooting at all. There's a few cameras that are decent in those conditions that are small but they are going to be 300+.
Well anyway, if you're looking for one, hit me up at CompUSA, I work in the digital camera dept there for 4 years :P

yup! F10 IS a good camera!
Fujifilm cameras (i'm not a salesman by the way) are THE EASIEST to use. You can use the camera without reading the owners manual (though it's recommended since there are features that you won't know about until you do) and still take great photos...

Well 1st off if it is just a regular camera for taking regular pictures, here are some things to think about.
MEGA PIXELS: http://www.photoelf.com/support/faq/pixel.shtml
Read that and it will explain the basic of why it's so important for a good sharp picture. Since I am a photographer, this is the best way to explain about it.
I own a nikon D1X and also a D100. Both are professional cameras with alot of features. But if you don't plan on taking sports pictures with flash and stuff then its no problem. I also own a cannon power shot 300 which take about the same pictures and also 30 second videos mpeg format.
For cards, you usally want to get a Compact flash card. They usually hold more photos depending on your usuage. A 512 MB card is always enough for video and photos.
Here are a good example of what to look for.

Batteries: If you get a camera with Double A's then y ou will probably spend more money buying the batteries for the flash, Since now a days people use the screen rather than the little eye hole, so you will be running around with batteries in your pocket all the time.
Or get one with a rechargable battery and you won't have to worry about buying 5.00 pack of batteries when you really need to take a shot.
Anyways, point blank, you want a camera that works, most are the same with alittle added features. Make sure it has a USB connection to the computer, a good resolution, video capture, with voice, and a good optical zoom. Good luck and god speed.. HA HA.
If you need any other help, let me know.

Check out this site - dpreview.com has good write ups on digital camera's.
I checked circuit city online - for the F10 its about $280.

I would recommend two cameras that we carry, the SD400($299), and the Nikon 5900(Clearance special at $219)
Both use SD cards. I wouldn't really recommend the Fuji cameras because of their proprietary memory cards called xD picture card.
I'll be working mornings all this week so look for John.
