does it open only at WOT or does it start to open when you hit boost? like if one was driving 65mph on the freeway would it be open or closed? it opens from boost so I'm thinking it only opens at WOT, right?

Itʻs just like your flapper on your turbo. When it gets enough pressure, it opens.

I donʻt think itʻs either all the way open or all the way closed. I think it opens with more pressure, I could be wrong though.

The MIG is a Lincoln that I just got gas for so I don't have to any more flux crap.

The TIG is a thermal arc.
I need to find a bandsaw, as my chop saw is taking forever with the schedule 40 I'm cutting.

This is the best setup that I have ever used.

I mounted it to an old folding table and would take it to jobsites.
The band saw mounts to the holder in about 30 seconds.

Thanks I'll check it out. I wonder how long it would take to cut through schedule 40 304ss. Right now my chop saw takes 20 minutes per cut, followed by a lot of grinding to debur, so a pie cut bend takes me a full day to just get the pieces.

I've tried an upright mount something similar to that, but you still have to push the metal into it. It isnt as safe. With the miter saw style mount the weight of the band saw does half the work for you.

The next best thing is a Diablo ferrous metal blade on a miter saw.

I have cut a metric **** ton of Holocom Raceway

I've tried many things at company expense. Nothing is as easy and clean as pivoting band saw mount.

for bandsaw...ive been using a jet HVBS-56M horizontal vertical band saw...
has 3 speeds... and blades are abundant and easily found.

I have to wait til the garage is built to begin working with my tig....hopefully ground breaking starts this sometimes this year....we've already gone through with the building plans...now were doing the financing part...maybe you can come over once its built to help me with my tig....
