Decent bike rides on Oahu...
Looking for some decent stretches I can bicycle on if anyone has any ideas? I dont want to do the crowded waikiki deal so was thinking more about driving to Waimanalo and biking to Kailua or something like that. Looking for round trip rides about 20-30 miles. Something like that. Thanks.

Trail Description:
One of the most popular trails on Oahu. It is a loop trail which runs along the ridges overlooking central Oahu with beautiful views of Pearl Harbor and Halawa Valley. There are a few pieces of an old plane wreck about two and a half miles in. Many parts of the trail are boardered by cliffs, so care is essentail. During wet periods, the trail is dangerous and prone to erosion, so do not ride when wet.

Knew I could count on you researching this for me. Hah.
Sorta looking for flad rides tho. My balance has been off since my motorcycle wreck about 10 years ago and I dont do well on trail rides. Something about the jarring really gets my balance all screwy. Happens sometimes in cars too, not too much fun... So I stick to roads here atleast if I crash its less painful.

mililani trail is a really good trail when it's dry. about a 7 mile loop.
there's always kaena point but not very challenging.
mountain biking hawaii, version 2,is a good book guide and has all the trails on all islands.
