dark colored STi (possibly black) and blue 2.5RS on H3 Saturday 2/28 afternoon
[rant mode on]
I'm wondering if the drivers of these two cars are here on this forum.
This past saturday going up the H3 around 1-2pm, two Subarus attempted to box in and run one of our shop cars off the road. My friend's black 2003 Honda Civic Si hatchback was enroute to meet up with a group of us in Kaneohe, followed by another friend of mine in a red 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. As they were driving, a dark colored STi started tailing the Honda while a blue 2.5RS pulled alongside of him and proceeded to swerve in and out of his lane repeatedly, either trying to run him off the road or possibly **** him off into a street race.
This is a picture of our car that was harrassed:
If these two drivers are members here, my advice to you is to cut that **** out. You're VERY lucky my friend is cool headed. I wasn't too far away from them and if I had caught up in time I wouldn't be.
[/rant mode off]
Don't ruin it anymore for the rest of us than others have already done. Keep your **** in your pants or on the track.

sorry to here about that. If only these focking little children would grow up and realize they could get someone killed if not themselves. Oh and if the drivers of the 2 subarus are on I-club you need to leave because thats not what we are about here.

The HIIC has always been open to anyone. I've always assumed that any Impreza owner I might meet would be on here or at least lurk. I was surprised, though. There are more than a few that have 'no need' to be a member. I suspect that who you ran into would fall into that crowd. Like 4080 said, though, if they ARE members, and they somehow 'get off' on being jackasses like that; they're most certainly not welcome.
That has always been the anxiety, though. I remember when I was pretty new in owning the car and new to the board, other members I had spoke to were always concerned that the WRX would attract the "bonehead streetracer"/"bad driver-in-a-fastar-car".

Even back in the day when street racing was much more frequent (and not so talked about), the most you'd get from someone was the hazards or the reverse lights, never something like this... and then you'd THINK in this time and day ppl would have learned better by now.

Thanks for being understanding guys... this just really pissed me off, and I was debating whether or not to post about it. God knows what would have happened if the driver had actually HIT my friend's car while trying to act like a *****. I see mostly level headed ppl here. I'd hate to think it was an i-club member that did this.

I know I am coming in late on this one.
I am glad that everything is ok with the car and the driver.
As for the actions of the other 2 drivers is totally idiotic and irresponsible.
Things like this just make it worse for the car scene in general.

I would have thrown something at those idiots.
Sad to say, but since driving around this beater Camry for the past three months, I've noticed a lot of young dumb punks who drive a WRX and a few who drive an STi.

Unfortunately, there will always be that outlaw fringe element that doesn't understand what it means to drive a subie. Good cars ending up in the hands of thugs. Sad.

A similar thing happened to me Wed night while on Kam Hwy coming back from the Mililani 24hour fitness. A stock WRB WRX was tailing me and flashing his highs. When I changed lanes to let him pass, he pulled along side and started reving. My friend and I started laughing and he took off. Some people really need to grow up.
