Curbage-need wheel repair!
I curbed one of my beautiful Advans at taco bell on the way to work tonight and I want to throw up.
Where can I find a GOOD repair shop, I'd prefer quality over saving some money on this job.
...my poor, poor Advans

the "quality" guys simply grind down the messed up part with a die grinder, smooth it out and re-spray.
place a piece of rubbery plastic (dealership license plate, cut tupperware lid, frisbe) between the surface to be smoothed and your tire to keep from scuffing your tire with the grinder.
most of the time, the tire never even comes off of the rim.
if you can find the actual paint color code on your wheels, there is a company online (paintscratch.com) that will mix up some high quality automotive paint, put it in an aerosol can, and mail it to you for like $30.
use index cards to keep from getting paint on your tire
the guys that professionally repair wheels arent superhuman or anything, they are just regular guys like you and I.
and now you have the knowledge.

You can call Todd or Puna @ Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. Quite a few guys on here have used them in the past, and we use them for wheel repairs on jobs we run through the shop too. You can call them @ 391-8633
