Cruise feeler
The wife and I were enjoying some Giovanni Shrimp today and were talking about cruises. Well we came up with the idea of having a cruise sometime around the spring time (some time soon). Our reasoning is HIIC only does two cruises a year and both are fairly close to each other. Which leaves a large gap (Nov to July roughly) for the next one. My proposition is to have one some time in the next few weeks to fill the gap and hopefully make this a yearly tradition like our other two cruises we do faithfully every year.
So my question is who's in?

With the cost of gas.. cruises are nearly fiscally irresponsible, Do a cost analysis of $$ / mile and you'll get it.
I'd be more down for a "pot luck picnic/car show" sponsored by HIIC /or subylife at some less traffic'd locale
Cost analysis of Miles Per Dollar =
Miles traveled / Total $$ spent on fill up
(My car based on a Full to 1/4 tank avg use / occasional WOT)
i.e.: 220 / $3.70/Gallon *10 Gallons = 220 (22mpg) / 37.00 = 5.95 Miles Per Dollar
~SIX MILES per dollar,.... based on that my round trip DAILY for work is:
50 MILES / 5.95 = ~$8.40 / day JUST TO GO TO WORK and BACK HOME.
That's right FIFTY miles round trip DAILY, I know i need to move just based on this cost analysis,...
Anyway, just some cost analysis on the cruise / route idea. (sorry numbers crunching has been consuming me a LOT lately)

I might be interested.... all depends on the date. I'm on-call some weekends & would also need to find someone to watch my daughter (not sure if she'd make it through a cruise unless we make a few "potty" breaks ).
Never been on a cruise... was hoping to make the T4T cruises in the past, but never had the chance.

I'm down. If not just to see my fellow subies.....then to have some North Shore shrimp. Might I suggest the one near the Kahuku Sugar mill. I personally have never tried Giovanni's, but the one near the Sugar Mill is wicked good. Plus, the parking lot is big and could accomodate everybody pretty easy. Haha, every time I've been up there, I've ALWAYS seen Diego drive by. Seriously, like the last 3 times in a row!
