Crappy morning
This morning, I am dragging my *** to my car to go to work, and I find that my roommates R1 is gone. I think at first that he left early, but that NEVER happens. I look down and find that the lock he uses to secure the bike is cut (quite cleanly infact), and then look up to see that the fence has been pried open, his bike was stolen. What makes this even more disturbing is that the building I live in has 24hr security. Messed up, I tell you!! I feel bad for my roommate since the bike was his only mode of transportation.
I call my roommate to let him know, report it to security, and call HPD.
I quickly look over my car, nothing missing or tampered with, Thank God. It just pisses me off that people do this kind of ****. I don’t know what I would have done if it was my car that would have been stolen. To me its just another WRX nothing special about it, why would any one want it.
With this happening it reminds me that no matter what type of security system you have on you vehicle. If the thieves want it bad enough, they’ll get it. It’s a 2001 blue and white R1 with and Akrapovic carbon fiber exhaust. I know it is close to impossible, if you spot it, but more than likely it has probably has been taken apart already.
For the I-Club guys with bikes, keep them safe!

Thanks guys, my roommate is most pissed of all. I'd like to see theives beaten down and burned. I dont want my tax payer dollars spent on them going to jail.
The only markings on the bike/parts were; scratches on the exhuast (metal area just before the carbon covering of the exhaust) from being dropped and one of the screws that hold the windscreen is broken off.
