Craftsman Professional 7.5 amp Impact Wrench Kit??
I don't have room or the $$$ for an Air Impact Wrench. Is this a good alternative? I'm getting ready for some suspension mods?

Car Info: Turncoat Turbo
240 lbs./ft. torque
It'd be dope for tire swaps/rotations though.

it sucks, its made by black and decker.
if you're using it for wheels, then its alright. but for anything else theres not enough power to break anything.
i believe Wes has the B&D one(same thing as the Craftsman), you could ask him how he likes it. I think Steven has an older Craftsman one.
EDIT: I did remember when I was installing my springs when Wes and I tried to use his impact in removing that 19mm camber bolt. No luck at all, wouldn't even budge.

550 is actually considered pretty low but enough for a regular user. Professional users will actually use a 600-800 ft/lb impact tool...especially ones made by ingersol rand or chicago pneumatic.
honestly, don't buy professional craftsman power tools, they are teh suck.

I haven't found a bolt yet that with a couple squirts of WD40 and my fancy breaker bar I can't get off. My 2 1/4 jack handle works really good. And I do everything by myself because I end up doing things late at night or when I am bored... Just use brute strengh...better for ya..

I have one. It works ok within it's limits (like all tools). It has enough torque to screw things up faster than I can fix them. The major problem in my opinion is the size and weight. It is impossible to get at most bolts with it unless you have a lot of space and, the weight will wear you down quickly. I use it on my old jeeps where there is a lot of room to manuver, but I have never used it on the imports-no room. I think it is an ok tool (I bought mine rebuilt) but I would not buy another one because of it's size. However, it was a good purchase when I had no air in the shop and it did work well on rusted bolts on jeeps.
