I mention at the last meet to afew of you, my uncle installed a spoiler on his honda accord. And is being held on only by 2 bolts,no washers, and a prayer. The waterproof gasket he used to seal the holes between the spoiler and trunk was underwear. Fruit of the loom to be exact. Sprayed painted black, to match the rest of the custom rattle can paint job.oh ya its a MKIII supra spoiler on a 1998 accord. He had the number 55 writen on his hood, using Duct Tape untill one rainy day god removed it to save man kind.
Anyways, his automotive skills have rub off on his son Jason. Now, I'm not saying that all filipinos don't know how to modify cars tastefully. ....I've meet alot here on i-club, and elsewere, that have prove that stereotype to be incorrect. But there are a select afew that keep that stereotype alive and strong. My cousin and his dad (Uncle Amboy) being just that.
Here is my cousins OZ lancer.
Strap on screens with tiny speakers (Screens are battery powered, not pluged into cars audio system)
LCD screen from an head rest screen(triming removed) held in place with wood screws and silicone caulking.
Portable DVD Player pluged into cig lighter, held in place by cardboard from a shoe box (Note the Athletic Wear symbol). The shifter is dressed up by using glued on crystals from a old phone case.
CD deck, checkers $15 installed...Does not play burnt CD's and CD skips when you hit a slight bump.
Left over crystals from a old phone case.
Spray painted wheels AND tires (I asked why he sprayed the tires, he said no need to buy tire shine)
