To continue with my everlasting, wonderful saga...

I've got 2 broken lugs and one that won't come off. That's just the front wheels.

I'll get these pieces of junk out, but anyone got any lugs? I know I can probably pick some up from Schuman, too.

Damn.

On brighter note, I'm going to the field Monday for a week and a half.

Did the lugs break or strip?

Do you mean the lugs (concave) or the wheel studs (convex)?

I've never heard of someone breaking lug nuts in half.

Did you use a torque wrench to tighten them?

he did.

Subaru wheel studs suck, ... just like all the other nuts and bolts used.
We've actually replaced more than a few on some people's cars.

Pat, cheer up, ... You have a wife and baby boy, a nice job , nice car w/ a 6spd on the way. What more could you want?

at least people aren't breaking into your car to jack your radio, women don't make it a point to screw you over, your chain of command doesn't screw you out of what you deserve, and you can actually afford to mod your car.

I don't remember, but I think I've never used an air wrench on them. I do torque them down too tight when I put them on, though. I'm using a torque wrench from now on.

I'm not too down in the dumps. I know things are pretty good, but I started the thread right after it happened. After I've thought about it, it shouldn't be that hard to change the lugs out. It just means no driving the car today.
