Comming to Hawii...
Hey whats up...im gilbert from alaska...right now i drive a 02 blue wrx wagon and im waiting to get my black/gold STi...just wanted to say hi and that im comming to hawaii...im actually going to be attending the University of Hawaii @ manoa this fall...im gonna be swimming on their team...im really excited to go there...i usually post on nasioc and i didnt know most of you were here so ill start posting here too...hope to meet some of you soon

Edit: Probably a stupid question I thought you meant you were coming just for a short time so of course if youre moving here you will ship the car. Duh.

My friend charlie has a WRB WRX Sedan that lives in Alaska as well! He used to live here but then he moved there! Do you shoot the **** with other Suby owners up there? If so then you might know him!

well i live right in anchorage and i know pretty much most of the suby owerns that are in to modding and such...theres a lot of fast guys up here too...alot of low and mid 12's...the fastest is probably my buddies silver wagon and theres another really ugly impreza L w/ a ej20 engine swap...we usually meet every month to just hang out and talk about car and stuff...do you guys ever get together? oh yea and i was wondering if any of you guys went to school at manoa...well anyways thanks for the welcome...ill be in hawaii on he 18th of august
i have some questions for you guys too...i was wondering what the legal tint limit was and what you have on your cars and how much do you think it will cost me to ship my car there...thanks

I run 18% but its illegal, but worth it if you ask me. I roll the windows down in Waikiki so Officer Hunt doesnt see them.
Shipping from Alaska? Hmm... Matson does almost all, if not all, the shipping to here. Its only $900 or so from LA or another post like Seattle on the west coast. Was about $1300 for me to have them truck my Blazer from Vegas to LA. NO clue about from Alaska. Call Matson and check with them.
