It's fairly easy to install. You won't need any of the bolts that came with the Xede. I do recommend two-way velcro so you could tape it under the dash.

Is it possible that you could stay an extra week in Hawaii?

I am not sure that I have enough time to prepare my car before the tuning day.

 

I think I may be experiencing the same problems as these guys from wrxhackers. I too have a CEL and have low boost.

May I also have the new firmware, harness, and toggle switch?


Egan was right! (good job ) I wrote Vishnu an email and received this reply today from Shiv. I will need to send it back to Vishnu for a firmware upgrade. He asked me to post it here:

According to this thread, Shiv's already in Hawaii, although someone mistakenly said he's on Maui. If no one's seen him, I guess he's there for vacation, only.

well, he may be out here, he was saying like the 27th or so for the tuning day ......

 

I just called Vishnu today and while he wasn't in yet, they said he would be later. I asked if he was still coming out and the answer was yes.

So for those interested it's time to speak up.

 

I was reading the Bay Area forums and they mentioned something about Shiv being gone to Hawaii for a "Tuning Conference" So do we get to wear nametags and go to some chintzy hotel bar, get plastered, and end up making a mistake with our co-workers? That's what happened at Best Buy Conferences!

 

Not sure that this is going to happen unless some folks arrange something on their own. I think he heads out here this week (if not already).
