Shiv does the driving during the tuning anyway... You'll just need to get the car there and back again.

Hi guys,
Just got back from my tuning trip in Portland yesterday... phew. If we do this HI tuning trip, we should be able to tune STis. Still a bit too early to tell for sure as we are still doing testing on it with our XEDE. So far, so good. If it's a go, it will definately have to be wire-in, not plug-in as we do not have ECU connectors yet to make a harness. Other than that, the rest should be pretty simple. We do not yet have access to STi ECUs via the ECUTEK software yet and I don't know if we will by the time of the tuning day(s). Right now, all I can promise is either XEDE or ECUTEK tuning for regular WRXs. We can also tune EVOs via XEDE as well. Not sure if there are any in HI though.
Cheers,
shiv

Shiv,
What kind of numbers can we somewhat expect with the STi? is it possible to give us a little taste of what might be to come? if the torque curve would or could be possibly straightened out? would it compensate for the 92 oct gas Hawaii has available?

Good news that the STi may be tuneable by that time, but bad news that there won't be a plug in solution initially. Beside being **** about cut/splicing the stock ECU wiring, I really want to be able to unplug when I do AutoX so I can stay in AS.
I'll probably regret missing Shiv's hands on tuning time, I'll wait out a plug in solution like I did with VS0 on my wagon.
Hope at least one STi is willing to hardwire so we can see some STi road tuning.

Shiv,
I'm thinking about this for my STi tuning setup.........
1) Pully
2) Down-pipe
3) XEDE
4) Intake (Maybe???? I've heard that they do good things on the STi.)
5) Colder plugs (If I need them)
Can we get this set up to work well? I ask because I want to have all the bolt-on stuff done before you get here.
Thanks,
Dan.
