Coming to Hawaii again
Hi guys,
There's a good change that I'll be coming back to HI again towards the end of next month. So... it would be fairly easy to incorporate a tuning day (or two, if necessary). I would be able to tune XEDEs (which now offer map switching and closed/open loop boost control) as well as stock ECUs via Ecutek. If you're interested, just reply to this thread. If there is enough interest (at least 10 cars would be nice), I'll go the next step and make arrangement and discuss dates.
As for prices, it really depends if I have access to a dyno. Last time I came, there wasn't any available. If it's the same, the prices would be the cost of the product (750 for reflash, 795 for XEDE) plus tuning charge (expect $100/car assuming no special considerations such a NOS, strange intake configurations, obscure turbo choices, etc.). If a dyno is available, tuning charge will go up depending upon rental rate of the dyno.

Maybe I can save some money on shipping. I'm actually sending out my Ecutek to get reflashed for Stage 2 sometime next week. I would definitely be interested in a custom tune if that's possible w/o a dyno. Unfortunately there still aren't any AWD dynos on island.

Hey, I thought I was the only one with the Xede on the island.
Also, can you tune the Xede with larger injectors than the STi's.

If I come, it'll be the last week in July. Probably from the 23rd to the 30th. I would have no problem doing the tuning day on the 27th, which is a Sunday. That may work the best for everyone, I suspect.
