Clutch Time!

I just moved to Austin, TX in Feb but couldn't bring myself to post in any of the other forums. I really miss being a part of the "scene" out there. It was always a good time even though I had been out of it for quite a while.

Anyways....on to the question at hand!

Looks like 134k miles has taken it's toll & it's time to get a new clutch (not that the old 1/4 and road course days would have anything to do with it. )

Just wondering if you guys could recommend if I should stay with the stock clutch or get something else in there while I have the chance?

The car is stock right now. I might bring it up to stage 2 or 3 at the most within the next year, but that's dependent on getting another daily driver car. I'd LOVE to just get another car & garage this one & do all the mods I always wanted to. Maybe some day.

Anyways...stick with the stock replacement or go for something else? I don't seem to remember any problems with the stock clutch up to stage 2 or 3, but figured I'd go ahead & check with you guys & say "hey" while I'm at it.

stock....

I put down well over 300 WHP and WTQ with no slippage on the stock clutch.

Hey Jason, long time no post! Jess is right. Within reasonable driving and care, a stock clutch will be fine.

STOCK!!!! Stronger makes it easier to break gears.
