Club Legacy

Was at my local bookstore when i picked up an issue of the club leacy magazine in japan. IT's chock full of great parts and driving techniques and stuff...ohhh jdm has the best market for parts i tell ya. They had all the latest body kits and stuff from dolphin, prova and the beautiful corazon. Man, i'm soo jealous, but the prices sheesh! Ya gotta be either rich or a drug dealer to afford all that JDM goodness. I'm working on it.

The aftermarket for the USDM Legacy is picking up quite fast actually. All the best bodykits are still JDM but that is normal. Certain areas are still lagging behind thou. Like suspension options and I/C. There are 6-7 diff types of UPs , 7-8 types DPs, 6 or so diff cat back exhausts, only 2 TBEs, almost all of the Sti and WRX turbos will fit on the Leg w/ minimal work.

oh yah, in general modding cars in Japan is really expensive. looking at those japanese magazines i'm like, holy cow that stuff is expensive, it's not all from a markup by being brought over.

What questions did you have? I totally missed your thread. I have checked into pricing and such on the Gialla Corsa kit myself. Its an 5 or 6pc kit depending on if you want the wing or not. Cost is around $2k not including shipping. It is painted but i think you can gt it unpainted also. It would be best to do due to JDm colors being diff fm USDM colors. Made fm FRP i think and fitment is said to be OEM. I talked to Paul/Apexjapan about it mostly. Ill see if i can dig up the PMs on it.

Heres one:
----------------------------------------
I think you are referring to this one, the Corsa kit:
http://www.gialla.co.jp/gialla/cata...01legacyb4.html

If so, the only problem is that the front bumper is actually a stock Spec B JDM front bumper with a Gialla "half-bumper" lip on it. I don't think it would fit to a standard USDM front bumper.

Prices:
Front Half Bumper: $445usd
Side sills: $545usd
Rear spats: $395usd
Front Grill: $295usd
Eye lines (headlight trim): $175usd

I believe that these may be painted prices, however - it may be cheaper if we can order them unpainted if that is the case. Shipping I'll need to do a separate estimate on, that's a large box! I'll see what our shippers could come up with.

Here is another on the CF hood in the pic:
----------------------------------------------------------
The carbon fiber hood is not listed as being part of that kit - there is one listed on this page, though:
http://www.gialla.co.jp/gialla/cata...ega_200829.html

And is about $1050usd.

There is a guy who put a front and rear JDM bumper on his Legacy GT wagon and he did have to make some modifications because the bumper supports are different,....

With the facias on, it would stick out away from the body and inch or something like that,..The guy has a weblink and pictures of all the mods he had to do,..

http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ght=jdm+bumper

I guess if you have the money and the patience to do all this, the look will come out awesome,...

Yes, it requires some modifications to get the JDM facia on. The bumper beam has to have 2 in cut off on either side. The USDM fog lights wont fit w/o modification. The undercarriage plastic scrape plates wont match up to the facia w/o mods. The wheel well plastics wont match up either w/o mods.

I plan on doing all the above later when i get to Cali but i wont be putting on the JDM OEM facias. Ill hopefully be droppping on the Gialla Corsa kit.
