Clanking noises
I just re did some of my hoses on my car and when I finally finished putting the tmic back on and connecting everything together, I started the car and took it for a drive around the block. Everything seemed fine (minus the constant backfiring from that freakin bov) and then when I stopped, applied e brake, and turned the key off, I got out and walked away from the car. The timer was still running so the car was still on and I heard a pretty loud clanking noise coming from the passenger's side. I checked and it's not coming from under the hood....well it doesn't seem like it because the noise can't be heard while your face is so close to the engine. You can definitely hear it the loudest from the passenger side front wheel. I have no idea what it is but I don't recall hearing it before. Almost sounds like a screw or something is being rattled around somewhere, but i'm positive that I put everything back on the way I took it off. Anybody any ideas or previous knowledge? Sorry for the

i dont think its related, but i have a similar problem. when i have the A/C on and the idle bumps up, you can hear a rattle by the passenger front wheel, and hardly at all in the engine bay. it sounds almost like a exhaust leak, at the same time very mechanical/metal. i really dont think its an exhaust leak, but mine is very intermitent, only does it when the car is well warmed up. this leads me to believe that an exhaust leak still possible, but it only does it when the A/C is in use. wierd...
