CEL light :(

aloha friends
I know that nobody knows me here, but I need some help please. Last night i noticed my CEL was on and the cruise light was flashing. I researched online and stuff and everybody said to go to checkers to see what error popped up on my car. I went and they don't do it anymore. My car is a 07 wrx 17,000 miles on it. I bought it about a year and half ago from servco new. I'm pretty sure it is under warranty still, but i was wondering what I should do. I don't want to take it in if it is something small. It isn't my gas cap and my fluids look pretty good. My car only has accessport stage 1 map and a catted exhaust. any help doods? thanks

have you tried disconnecting your negative cable? try disconnect it and leave it off for like 10 minutes and re-secure it after. see if its still on. you pound your rex or what? 07 has some over boosting issues.

^^^ Yeah p0244. Car hits fuel cut to protect your motor when over boosting.

another problem you want to look into is how your going to unlock your ecu if you had too. Contact cobb and tell them what happen to your AP and see what they can do for you.

imma just take it down to servco cause im still under warranty. ya i was told that the ecu thing might be a problem. I think islandview told me that he had to send his new accessport back to cobb or his ecu or something. i dunno if i'm goin to get another accessport though.

you might have to send your ecu to Cobb so they can unlock it.... one more thing I do not like about the Cobb AP...if you take your car the way it is now to subaru, they might void your warranty since your ecu has been altered. As far as purchasing another Cobb AP save your money and go a different route there are better alternatives out there.
