CEL light

I have a 05' STi with APS 3.5" TBE running stage 2 on the AP. Every now and then I get the cel light come on with the cruise light flashing. Usually I just pull over somewhere turn the car off and clear it with the AP. Is this normal?

Yeah...

My APS 3.5" system does the same...

I'm about to install the mechanical fix for it...if I can get it to fit...the placement of the 02 sensor on the APS downpipe makes it almost impossible to fit the mechanical fix in.

I throw a Cel every 2-3 days...usually when I'm going about 50-55mph in 6th gear under almost no load...

It throws the P0420 code...due to the increased flow of the dp and no cat...

I do the same, reset it with the AP and continue on...

Hey Brent, you should custom one like I did with an elbow adaptor, works great for me!

Norris, PM me please...

help me out...where did you get the elbow? Did you have to rethread the piece? If so, who rethreaded it for you?

Thanks,

Brent

If you figure this out let me know. I know it's an easy fix to reset the ecu with the ap, but it would be nice to have a more permanent fix to the problem.
